Since 1919, Reading Community Singers has supported the advancement of music education by providing an annual scholarship to a student pursuing a career in music.
Highlights
- The award is $1,000.
- The application process is open to any graduating senior from high school pursuing a major/minor in music.
- The application process is open to any 1st, 2nd, 3rd yr (college student) pursuing a major/minor in music.
The Scholarship Recipient will be expected to:
- Perform at our concert on Saturday night, May 1st, 2010
- Attend and perform at our Dress Rehearsal on Friday night, April 30th, 2010
& Applications are to be postmarked by December 4th, 2009.
& Finalists will be contacted by December 18th, 2009 in order to schedule an audition.
& Auditions will be held on Sunday, January 9th, 2010.
