Reading Community Singers Covid Policy
In order to continue performing live, the Reading Community Singers Board of Directors continues to take seriously our responsibility for the safety and health of our members, staff, volunteers, and audiences. We are continually reviewing the evolving vaccination and mask recommendations and guidelines from many sources, including the CDC, the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, the Town of Reading, the Reading Public School System (as we are perform at Reading Memorial High School and Parker Middle School), and the Old South United Methodist Church (where we rehearse).
- To participate in rehearsals and performances, all RCS members, staff, and volunteers, including our Artistic Director and musicians, must show proof being fully vaccinated and up to date with all vaccines and boosters.
- Masks are no longer required for singers or audience members. Also, we no longer require proof of vaccination or a negative Covid test in order to attend performances. However, we strongly encourage those who have been exposed to Covid within the last 10 days to wear a mask. We also ask that you not attend performances or rehearsals if you are experiencing any symptoms.
As the Covid-19 pandemic continues to evolve, we ask that you check back here on our website for updates to our Covid protocols.
Thank you
RCS Board of Directors
